Jef Rawls has been acting and performing for more than 18 years. His background includes Film, TV, Video, Commercial and Stage.

Since 1998, Jef has performed live improvisational comedy virtually every weekend. In fact Jef has over 1,500 improvised shows under his belt, both as a performer and Master of Ceremonies.

In addition to live performances, Jef hosted ABC Channel 15’s kid’s educational program – “WHAT’S UP?” (This TV show won an ‘Emmy Award’ for best local educational program). His acting career also includes over 50 educational videos, numerous commercials, music videos, independent and feature films, and a variety of stage and theatrical performances.

Jef has studied with some of the best instructors improv has to offer - David Razowski, Keith Johnstone, Bob Dassie, Mark Warzeka, Holly Wortel, Tom Booker, Shulie Reynolds. In 2004 he commuted each week to Los Angeles, CA to study with the Second City conservatory. This prestigious conservatory based out of Chicago is known for its instruction in comedic acting and has notable alumni such as Mike Meyers, Chris Farley, Dan Ackroyd & many other Saturday Night Live comedians.
